Nail Preparation and Application Guide

Your nail preparation and application kit comes with these items:

  • 1 Alcohol Wipe
  • 1 Buffer
  • 1 Cuticle Pusher
  • 1 Nail File
  • 1 Nail Glue
  • 1 Glue Tab Set
  • Application and Removal Guide Instructions
  1. Using the cuticle pusher, gently push back your cuticles. This will allow your press on nails to lay seamlessly on your nail bed.
  2. File your natural nails down.
  3. Check each press on for the correct fit by laying them on your nail one by one and making sure they fit your nail bed edge to edge. If any of the press on nails are too big, you can file the sides down slightly. Make sure to file little by little.
  4. Buff your natural nails lightly to remove the shine. This will allow your press on nails to last longer.
  5. Wipe all your natural nails with the alcohol wipe. This will remove all the dirt and moisture.
  6. To apply your press on nails, you can choose between using nail glue or the glue tabs. Read the section below if you need help deciding between the two. Remember to avoid contact with water for at least 1 hour.
  7. If using nail glue: starting with your pinky nail, apply a small bead of nail glue to your natural nail bed and quickly distribute the glue over the entire nail using the glue nozzle. Firmly press the press-on onto your nail, starting at the cuticle and pushing the nail down towards the finger tip to avoid creating air bubbles. Hold it there tightly for at least 30 seconds to ensure all air bubbles are removed and that the glue has dried completely.
  8. If using glue tabs: starting with the pinky nail, find the glue tab that fits the nail properly and firmly press it onto your natural nail. Starting from the middle of your nail, press down and push the glue tab towards the edges of your nail to ensure the most coverage and adhesion. Peel the plastic off the top of the glue tab and place the press-on onto your nail, pushing it towards your cuticle. Hold it there tightly for at least 30 seconds to ensure the nail is completely attached to the adhesive.

Nail Removal Guide

1. Fill a bowl with hot, soapy water and soak your nails for 20-25 minutes.

2. Using the cuticle pusher, gently push the press on nails up and pop them off of your natural nails. If they are not coming off, do not rip them off as it could damage your nails. Instead repeat the steps above one more time.

3. After removing your press on nails, use the buffer to gently remove any glue remaining on your natural nails.

Nail Glue vs Glue Tabs

Nail Glue

  • Press on nails can last up 1-2 weeks with proper care.
  • Press on nails are harder to reuse if you don't remove them with caution. You can use an e-file to file down the leftover glue on the back of the press-ons if needed.
  • Nail glue is more likely to damage your natural nails and the press-on nails.

Glue Tabs

  • Press on nails can last from 3 days to 1 week.
  • Press on nails are easy to reuse multiple times.
  • Glue tabs cause little to no damage to your natural nails and the press-on nails.

Using Both Nail Glue and Glue Tabs

  • You can apply a glue tab to your natural nail and then apply nail glue on top of the glue tab in order to protect your natural nails from damage
